Proctor TEAS Test, together with the National Council of State Board of Nursing, Inc., has developed the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program to meet the nurse aide evaluation requirement of federal and state laws and regulations. The Nursing Home Reform Act, adopted by Congress as part of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987 (OBRA 87) , was designed to improve the quality of care in long –term health care facilities and to define training and evaluation standards for nurse aides who work in such facilities. Each state is responsible for following the terms of this federal law. The NNAAP Examination is a measure of nurse aide-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. The NNAAP Examination is made up of a Written (or Oral) Examination and a Skills Evaluation. The purpose of the NNAAP Examination is to make sure that you understand and can safely perform the job of an entry-level nurse aide. Laureate Medical Institute is a regionally recognized site for administering the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program examination. Laureate Medical Institute agrees to not schedule any other activities in the testing area on the scheduled Promissor testing days, so as to not disrupt the examination process. By providing environmentally acceptable heated/air conditioned testing site, Laureate Medical Institute initiates a secure confidential location for students to excel and pass the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP), exams. Testing is offered the first and second Friday and Saturday of every month from 7:00am - 5:00pm - 15 person limit per testing session.
